Set in an idyllic location with stunning twenty mile views across to the spectacular Stirling castle is this historic 18th century country mansion – Gartmore House. This ancient Stirlingshire mansion is set in a seventy five acre picture post card Estate, and is ideally placed for tourists exploring Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Aberfoyle or Stirlingshire.

All bedrooms are located on the first and second floors of the house and all have en-suite facilities. Lift access in operation. Gartmore village is only a ten minute walk from Gartmore House, and located two and a halve miles away is the bustling tourist village of Aberfoyle. Aberfoyle has a great selection café’s, shops and traditional Scottish pubs that serve up some great Scottish grub.

Here at the Gartmore House we serve a nice hearty breakfast every morning from eight till nine thirty. The perfect way to fuel up before you head of on your exploration of this picturesque part of Scotland, or if you are here to relax then there is the residents lounge that offers stunning views of the natural surrounding landscape. To create an ancient historic feel to your stay we have left all rooms without TV’s but if you can’t go without there is always the TV lounge room for guests.
